Mockup model of the iPad Mini shows how the next iPad is going to look like

There’s no doubt that there’s in a growing anticipation on how the new iPad Mini is going to look like. Will it look the same as the current model of the iPad, only smaller, thinner and slimmer perhaps? Well, a Chinese site, DGtle has just came out with several photos of their mockup version of the iPad mini, as reported by French site Nowhereelse.fr.
The new mockup model may have been built from various leaked specs from third-party accessory maker which has been testing the the design to build iPad mini cases. Interestingly, the design was also based on legitimate data so the mockup will most likely be how the iPad Mini will look like once it is launched.
True to some leaked images of the iPad Mini, the mockup design also show the next iPad tablet with rounded edges. More rounded than the current iPad model in fact. There’s also a dual speaker grills and small dock connector at the iPad Mini’s base. This is of course based on previous rumors suggesting that the iPad Mini will be using a dock connector different from previous iPad models. Additionally, the mockup iPad mini design is also showing thinner bezel on its two sides although still identical to the “new iPad.”
So, are we looking at the iPad Mini here? Unfortunately, only Apple can tell. And another unfortunately, we may not see this in tomorrow’s big Apple event as rumors say that Apple is not going to announce the iPad Mini until sometime later this year.
